Maggie Barber - a quilt designer and quiltmaker with a passion for colour
I discovered quilting fifteen years ago. I’d always enjoyed creating things with textiles — dressmaking, tailoring and home interiors. Quilt making embraced all of these disciplines and provided me with a canvass and unlimited palette of textures and colour.
I hope you enjoy the quilts displayed on these pages as much as I enjoyed making them. Some have been featured in exhibitions, books and magazines globally, but many haven’t been seen beyond the walls of my London studio. Space is getting a bit tight so some — though not all — are for sale. I’m also happy to take commissions, when time allows.
