Burma Series
A series of machine and hand embroideries exploring Burmese script.
Several of the letters in the alphabet (which has no capital letters) resemble human form thus helping me, through stitch, to tell the story of the struggle of the Burmese people to free themselves from the constraints of Communism and of the birth of Democracy in their beautiful country.
